Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

During twenty years of living and working in health development in eastern Africa, Susan Lewallen co-founded an NGO in Tanzania, published over a hundred academic papers, and garnered a number of international awards. She knows the complexity of foreign aid from the West, and especially how it plays out on the ground. Her first novel, Crossing Paths, demonstrated that well-informed fiction is a great vehicle for enlightening westerners about complex issues in a part of the world she loves. She lives now in San Diego with her husband. Her two sons, raised in Tanzania, are carving out careers in Africa.
