Allura

I didn’t mean to, but because of me, the west coast sirens have added man-hunting to their list of favorite things to do.

Most are following the matriarch’s orders to only hunt at pre-approved siren events, but not all. Some have abandoned their clans and gone rogue.

According to news reports, a group of religious men have gone missing from a nature retreat and we know the rogues are behind it.

But when the kelpie twins drop by, we quickly learn it’s much worse than we thought. Other mythic beings are worried the rogue sirens will out them, and have sent the kelpies with a threat:

If the rogue sirens out the existence of mythical beings, the mythics will join together to remove us from the equation.

I’m finally doing what I think is right, instead of following clan directions.

I’ve met a mermaid who makes my heart skip and my stomach flip. We’ve run away to join the water women revolution and begin our futures together in freedom.

They call us rogues. And there’s more of us in the revolution than anyone suspects. We stay hidden, and keep the human men we’ve collected tucked away. But we know we’re being hunted by the sirens and the mythics, and it’s only a matter of time before we’re forced to fight our own kind.

My sister Allura is coming for me, for all of us.

Blood may be thicker than water, but when I see my sister again, there will be blood in the water.

Some Kind of Pure Obsession is book two in the Siren Sisters series and is told from both Allura and Cara's points of view. The Siren Sisters series takes place in the same world as the forthcoming Wild Women series and the Obsidian Falls Coven series.
