An empowering picture book about self-esteem and self-acceptance

Dogfish sets off on an exciting Arctic adventure to see the glistening Northern Lights! Along the way he meets talented new friends, a humpback, an orca, even the unicorns of the sea, and starts to wonder if he should try to be like them instead of himself.

But when a baby bear ends up in BIG trouble, Dogfish discovers that being the best you is exactly what the world needs. Will Dogfish save the day?

With a bouncing, read-aloud rhythm and a shimmering Arctic setting full of narwhals, orcas, and dancing Northern Lights, this heartwarming story reminds kids that following the crowd isn't always the best thing to do, because everyone has their own special gifts and talents.

An award-winning book in the Dogfish Tales series

Dogfish, Just Be You is part of the beloved, award-winning Dogfish Tales series, winner of the Mom's Choice Award, the Golden Wizard Award, and the Readers' Favorite Award, and a Book Excellence Award Finalist.
