Tamika Mitchell-Wilcher was born and raised in a rural town called Camilla, GA. She currently resides in Albany, GA. She is a wife and a mother of three beautiful children. She currently holds her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education. Her sincere prayer is that her book lets the world know that we are all unique whether it's on the inside or outside of our bodies.

Ashley Dowell is the creator of the independent publishing company, Dowell House Publishing. She holds her Master of Arts in Teaching for Visual Arts from Liberty University. She has had the privilege of illustrating several children's books, as well as her own, and assisting other authors with illustration, editing, and publishing their own books. She enjoys working with budding, independent authors and painting their ideas to life. She currently resides in Columbus, Ohio with her husband and daughter.
