Leo Rocco is a global product development expert and Pioneer mobile payments. Throughout his 25-year career Rocco has been at the center of transforming the way people do things. He has designed and written code, set up and lead global teams ranging in size from 2 to thousands of people. In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Leo founded Confidence Systems (confidence.com). The AI powered platform focused on helping companies control their Operational IP. He currently serves as the company's CEO. Before Confidence, Leo led Product Development and Digital Transformation at Fiserv, a 50,000 person, $100-billion-dollar financial technology company. In this role he was tasked with reimagining and modernizing the onboarding experience of merchants to accept payments. Prior to that, he led the digital transformation of mobile payments and digital commerce through GoPago, a company funded by JP Morgan. At GoPago Rocco and his team were the first to create the ability to order and pay on a smartphone. He eventually sold the company to Amazon. Leo is a venture advisor at the Venture Studio Program, at Stanford University, where he is a guest lecturer and mentor to students on all phases from starting, growing, and selling a company. He also is the founder of GetKids2Code (getkids2code.org) a philanthropic initiative under R5 Labs designed to inspire more people to embrace STEM.
