Inhaltsangabe

"AUDACIOUS UNPREDICTABILITY" "PROFOUNDLY MOVING" Book One in the Faerie Quest Chronicles Truth and storytelling collide in this modern-day adventure when sixteen-year-old Megan Elida Fay, the great-great-granddaughter of Wendy Darling, must learn to embrace the possibility that forgotten Fable Island exists and that Peter Pan and the Faerie Queen are real. But Meg, living in the attic of her aunt's weather-beaten house on the Maine coast, alongside the nursery toys and memories of her ancestors' past, is haunted by her mother's death and her father's sudden disappearance. Will Meg be able to bend time and find the elusive island, the one we have come to know as Neverland, as her mother once promised her she would, and discover her free-spirited and playful self once more? Can she open herself to the possibility of magic in a fabled land where dreams come true when one believes?

Kirkus Reviews calls Alicia's poetic prose novella Restless, which takes place in Paris, 1903, "A brief but memorable tale that sings." This retelling of the classic My Fair Lady offers ingenuity and self-care (Tattered Script Publishing, April 2023).Aware of her tie to the Valley that goes back nine generations, Alicia recently returned after a twenty five year hiatus in Maine where she raised two daughters. As witness to the stories of the early settlers' perseverance and appreciation for the bounty and beauty of the Valley, it is a place where she continues to find inspiration for her creative work.
