She is a professional artist, who studied at London GuildhallUniversity, BA Fine Art. She loves to use strong lines and bright,bold colours; you can see this throughout her work.Throughout her life Fiona has written children stories as gifts,stories for people in her family as well as children of friends.The Colourful Counting Book was inspired by friend, Mari'sdaughter, Megumi. I wanted to create a beautiful book forMegumi so she could learn her numbers and also hernumbers in English.Originally Fiona's stories were private gifts but now throughpublishing they are accessible to children and their familiesaround the world.Fiona grew up in Canada but has lived in the UK for over 25years.
