Después de trabajar 13 años como periodista, Mark Beales cambió las frías costas de Inglaterra por las más soleadas de Tailandia, donde vive desde el 2004. Ha colaborado en una docena de guías de Lonely Planet, ha sido presentador de TV y ha arrastrado su mochila por todos los países del sureste asiático. En la actualidad es jefe del departamento inglés de un colegio internacional en la costa oriental tailandesa. Vive con su esposa, Ann, y su hijo Daniel. Joe Bindloss se enamoró de Tailandia durante un viaje por Asia a principios de la década de 1990, y desde entonces ha vuelto innumerables veces a escalar, andar, hacer submarinismo y comprar utensilios de cocina para preparar fantásticos platos tailandeses en casa. Ha colaborado con Lonely Planet en más de 50 títulos y cuando no está en ruta es editor de destino en Lonely Planet pata el Subcontinente indio.

Británica-australiana sobre el papel, pero española de corazón, Isabella Noble recorre el planeta desde su primera vuelta al mundo, cuando solo tenía un año. Creció en un pueblo andaluz de casas encaladas y es periodista de viajes especializada en España, pero también escribe mucho sobre la India, Tailandia, Reino Unido y otros destinos para Lonely Planet, el Daily Telegraph y otros medios. Isabella es coautora de guías Lonely Planet sobre España y Andalucía, y ha colaborado en las guías India, South India, Tailandia, Thailand’s Islands & Beaches, Sureste asiático para mochileros y Great Britain, y es autora de Pocket Phuket. Con dos licenciaturas (una de ellas en chino clásico y moderno por la SOAS University of London), Damian Harper ha colaborado con Lonely Planet desde hace dos décadas, en destinos tan dispares como China, Vietnam, Tailandia, Irlanda, Londres, Mallorca, Malasia, Singapur, Brunéi, Hong Kong y Reino Unido. Este curtido autor de viajes ha escrito artículos para numerosos periódicos y revistas, como The Guardian y The Daily Telegraph, y actualmente reside en Surrey (Inglaterra). Tras trabajar brevemente como asesor legislativo en un despacho, Tim Bewer decidió que no tenía el ego suficiente como para triunfar en política, ni el aguante para colaborar con los que sí lo tienen. Dejó su empleo en el Capitolio para viajar con su mochila por África occidental, periplo que aprovechó para decidir su siguiente paso: escribir una guía de viaje de los parques, bosques y espacios naturales del bello estado de Wisconsin. Desde entonces es autor de viajes freelance y fotógrafo. Colabora habitualmente en las guías Lonely Planet.
