This is Clive Small's personal account of how he led the investigation into the Belanglo State Forest murders and convicted the Backpacker Murderer, Ivan Milat. He brings to this story the unique perspective from his leadership role, and many fascinating and new revelations. Subsequently there was an attempt to link Milat with a very large number of unsolved crimes, including the murder of Samantha Knight. Clive brings the Milat story up to date, even with the recent conviction of his nephew for murder.
