Getting Murdoch'd examines the very particular way in which the Murdoch media globally focus on perceived News Corp enemies and attempt to discredit and destabilise them with a barrage of critical news stories and opinion pieces from across the News Corp stable. From scientists, left-wing activists, politicians, the 'woke' and even conservative politicians deemed not right-wing enough.
Including interviews and studies, Getting Murdoch'd analyses the damaging effect that this has on democracy in Australia, the UK and the United States. The authors contemplate what it is about the News Corp organisation, and Rupert Murdoch himself, that makes this vindictive approach so characteristic and distinctive to the News Corp stable.Die Inhaltsangabe kann sich auf eine andere Ausgabe dieses Titels beziehen.
