A few years ago, Dr. Robert Samms, a clergyman, educator, and marriage officer in Montreal, was surprised by the escalation of the divorce rate in North America. He decided to investigate the reasons for this drastic change. Dr. Samms discovered that the divorce rate doubled between about 1966 to 1978, a twelve-year period. After significant research, the author found the main reason for the breakdown of marriages and how best to assist couples, marriage and unmarried, develop strategies to enjoy successful and enduring relationships. Placing these ten concepts on a paradigm (illustrative pattern), the author skillfully teaches these ten key areas that most affect relationships. The ten chapters also represent the resource for the author's ten successful seminars he and his wife, Petula, have been conducting during the past several years. The author reveals the secrets of ensuring and restoring marital happiness.
