A former university professor, and a certified addiction treatment specialist through the University of British Columbia. She is also a Certified Reiki Practitioner and a survivor of domestic violence and sexual assault. Drawing on both her clinical background and her own lived experience, Lori wrote The Addiction/Trauma Workbook to give people in every stage of recovery, and the professionals and organizations who support them, a clear, compassionate, and evidence-based place to begin.
