It has been estimated that 1 in 5 people is a narcissist and 1 in 25 is a sociopath. As a global society, how did we end up in the age of raging narcissism? While providing insightful answers to this question, this book will also help you determine if you are in a relationship with a parent, partner, family member, work supervisor, or associate who has narcissistic traits and what to do about it. It can also help a friend or loved one who is suffering because they are unaware of narcissism and the arsenal of manipulation and abuse tactics that are used.
This book is filled with eye-opening insights which provide the answers to questions such as:
• How does a person become a narcissist, and how can you become better at recognizing narcissists more quickly?
• What is narcissistic abuse, how can you recognize the dynamics, and what are the effects on the human body?
• What is the romantic appeal of dating a narcissist, why can they be so attractive, and how do they hook a person and keep them invested in a relationship?
• What kind of family dynamics are set up by a narcissistic parent, how does narcissistic abuse affect children, and how can you keep your child from becoming a narcissist?
• Can a narcissist be healed from their condition so that your relationship can improve, and how do you know when to call it quits and finally leave a narcissist?
• Is your work supervisor or colleague a narcissist, and if so, how do you deal with him or her?
• Are narcissists evil, and do they ever get their karma?
