But I'm the bravest captain ever, so this all sounds like fun to me. You can come along if you like... unless you're too scared!

Victor Engbers is an artist, illustrator and author who lives in Amsterdam. He is the creator of the Awesome Adventures of Captain Danger picture book series, which you should definitely read (if you're not too scared). Captain Danger and the Stupid Shadow is also available from Pushkin Children's Books.

David Colmer has won many prizes for his translations, including the IMPAC Dublin Literary Award and the Independent Foreign Fiction Prize (precursor to the International Booker Prize). His translations for Pushkin Children's Books include The Cat Who Came in off the Roof and Captain Danger and the Stupid Shadow.
