Claire Bampton is a natural history writer based in the West Country, UK. She lives with her children, her husband and their two cats and a deer that regularly visits their garden. She has a particular fascination for birds and loves to watch them fly, often thinking how nice it would be to join them one day herself.

David Hawcock is a fantastic paper engineer, designing many successful model books and pop-up titles, including the book of London featured in the hit film, Paddington 2. David has a degree in graphic design and his company creates ideas-based projects for publishers and advertising agencies. David lives in Bath, UK.
