Inhaltsangabe

Christopher Douglas stars as Ed Reardon in the complete Series 8 of the award-winning BBC Radio 4 comedy series

‘The funniest sitcom ever to grace Radio 4’ Radio Times

Ed Reardon - hack writer, pipe smoker, fare-dodger and master of the abusive email - returns in the radio sitcom, written by Christopher Douglas and Andrew Nickolds.

In these six episodes, Ed finds himself enjoying ‘weekend-ish things’; working with his son Jake on a piece of ‘genuine’ factutainment; writing a tribute for Jaz Milvane’s 60th birthday celebrations; starring on local radio; lending some authentic ‘oldspeak’ to the modern gaming fraternity; and searching for a new home when his landlord Stan decides to cash in on the 2012 Olympics…

Starring Christopher Douglas as Ed with a supporting cast including Jenny Agutter, Stephanie Cole, Philip Jackson, Rita May, Geoffrey Whitehead and Barunka O’Shaughnessy.
