He took classes from masters such as Mézières (Valerian & Laureline) and Giraud/Moebius, alongside other stalwarts of the medium as Juillard (Blake & Mortimer) and Loisel, and is the authors of unforgettable series La quête de l'oiseau du temps and Jerome K. Jerome Bloche. Frédéric Peynet claims Rosinski (Thorgal) as one of his main sources of inspiration; he is the illustrator of several series including Les contes du Korrigan and Le Feul.
