Steve Blair is a software developer living in the Pacific Northwest. After his time at Oregon State University, he jumped headlong into coding, and has been using Python extensively for nearly two decades. In many ways, Steve Blair sees programming as his life, and he wrote this book to help everyone with an interest in Python get started down the path to being an excellent coder. His life, though, is not completely about coding. He does take breaks to watch (and play) rugby, and loves going on long hikes in the Cascade mountains with his wife and his dog.
