Inhaltsangabe

Have you ever wondered why early mystics believed the secrets of the universe were inscribed on ancient stone pillars? The Three Steles of Seth is a mesmerizing and vital text from the Nag Hammadi library that offers a direct window into the ritualistic and spiritual practices of the Sethian Gnostics. Attributed to Seth, the revered earthly ancestor of the spiritual elite, these three ascending hymns represent a precise formula for the soul's journey back to the Divine. Unlike narrative gospels, this work is deeply experiential and liturgical. It reads as a sequence of ecstatic prayers, moving upward from the earthly realm of Seth to his heavenly father, Geradamas, and ultimately to the Supreme, Unbegotten One. It provides the very words and spiritual postures the ancient initiates used to break free from the material world and achieve true gnosis-the profound, transformative knowledge of their cosmic origins. What You'll Discover in This Modern Translation:The Ritual of Ascent - Follow the structured, three-part meditative journey used by early Gnostics to elevate their consciousness toward the Supreme Divine. The Wisdom of Seth - Explore the esoteric tradition that viewed Seth, the son of Adam, as the spiritual forefather and savior of the enlightened race. Ecstatic Gnostic Hymns - Read the profound, poetic praises that define the relationship between the human soul and the ascending hierarchy of heavenly beings. A Map of the Divine Cosmos - Gain insight into the Sethian cosmological structure, moving from the earthly plane to the highest, unnamable realms of light. Whether you are a student of ancient religious history, a scholar of mysticism, or a spiritual seeker looking for historical methods of meditation and prayer, The Three Steles of Seth offers a breathtaking exploration of esoteric devotion. Step onto the path of the ancient initiates and discover the hymns of divine ascent. Begin your journey today.
