Her father was a colonel in the Marine Corps. She can ‎honestly say she was raised as a Marine. She worked with horses in ‎Hawaii, then as a reporter in Florida. She now lives in a swamp with ‎seven dogs, mostly rescues. She has a wonderful family who support ‎her work.‎
