Editor Dorcas S. Miller is an outdoor writer who has worked as an Outward Bound instructor, whitewater rafting guide, canoe trip leader, teacher and environmental advocate. Her recent books include Kayaking the Maine Coast and Adventurous Women: The Inspiring Lives of Nine Early Outdoorswomen. She lives with her husband in Maine.
