Inhaltsangabe

Garin Jenkins is the most capped front-row forward in Welsh rugby history. But behind the success lies a tragic and often complicated personal life that has shadowed his every triumph on the pitch. This book takes the reader through the private tragedies and personal triumphs, from juvenile delinquent to Welsh rugby hero. It also details how Garin took part in the 1984 miners strike and recounts the shocking attack from a knife-wielding Spanish thug which almost cost Garin his sight. Despite all the controversies, violent match incidents and his brushes with authority, Garin has become one of the most dependable, influential and inspirational players avaliable to Wales. This is the story of an ordinary man who has triumphed in the face of adversity.
