Two of his junior teams became national champions and several of his individual golfers also achieved national recognition. Today the Phil Ritson-Mel Sole Golf & Country Club in South Carolina is recognized as one of the best in America. Increasing demand for its instruction services has prompted the expansion of operations to five sites across the United States.
