Technical illustrations in the familiar Haynes style are complemented by cartoons from Jim Campbell. There is also a light-hearted look at what sexual positions are achievable in particular models of car, called Carma Sutra.

Dr Ian Banks has written several popular health titles, including the best-selling Haynes Man Manual and Baby Manual. He is also the author of the NHS Direct Health Care Guide and a frequent broadcaster as well as a practising casualty doctor.
