Sept 12 I ordered this book on a whim and have been pleasantly pleased with it. There are designs for kids, stylish ones for adults and then some quirky ones. There are cuffs for men, women and children in here and something to please everybody. Choose from plain but practical or those with hearts, flowers, pigs, penguins, ducks, plaid or stripes. The author is an Art Deco fan so there is more than one Clarice Cliff inspired pattern, one with boucle yarn and my own favorite, the festival-inspired Rasta Jester. It helpfully always says if a pattern is suitable for the more experienced knitter, and mostly I would pitch this book at improver level. Each page spread has a full-page photo of the item one side and the pattern on the other, telling you also what needles and yarn you need and sometimes with a graph too.
