She gives regular lectures on Bristol's history and she has taken part in television and radio programmes. Her previous publications include Twenty Bristol Murders, Murder and Mayhem in the West, The Origin of Bristol Street Names, The Inns of Bristol (with Grace Cooper) and several volumes of archive photographs.
