Sid is a dear little Jack Russell dog with short legs, a curly pigs tail, and a mind of his own. He loves nothing better than chasing his red ball in the garden and rolling in the mud, but his owner, Geraint, has other plans for him. After quite some hullabaloo and two baths, which he hates, Sid is taken by car to the dog show to be entered into the competition for the best dog. Even in the car, where there is no mud to roll in and no red ball to chase, Sid manages to thwart Geraints plans. But Sid is full of self-confidence and decides on a plan of his own when he arrives at the show. Will his plan succeed? A sweet and funny story to show that staying true to yourself is more important than becoming what someone else wants you to be. Petra Browns illustrations of Sid add to his appeal: children who read the book will definitely want a Sid of their own! Reseña del editor:
Sid is a very special little dog and his owner, Geraint, loves him to bits. Mum and Dad love him too, but they're not very happy when he chases his ball through their leeks and daffodils. But today it's the Cwmhendy Dog Show and Sid is looking his very best. What can possibly go wrong?
