Inhaltsangabe

Here is recounted the stirring history of the Clan NacNeil from its beginnings in the mists of medieval Caledonian history down to the present time. The clan's turbulent exploits spanned the bloodthisty, feuding saga of Scotland's history and the dramatic tales here retold recall the dashing Highland charges, brutal battles, breathless chases and deadly duels. The MacNeils claim descent from the Western Isles where they had a stormy relationship with the monarchs of Scotland. Here their colourful story is told in all its vivid detail. This little book contains, where available, the clan motto, crest and tartan, in addition to the history of the name.
