Published in hardback by Patrick Stephens Limited, 1989. This is a firsthand account by a wartime RAF fighter pilot and ground-attack specialist, drawing on his own wartime diaries. The front cover shows a colour illustration of a Hawker Typhoon in flight above cloud, with the title lettering above. The book is a withdrawn library copy, bearing Shropshire County Library and Telford & Wrekin Libraries stamps and a shelf label on the spine, along with a library sticker on the front cover. The dust jacket is in a plastic protective sleeve and shows some creasing and surface wear, particularly to the edges. Printing number line reads 1 3 5 7 9 10 8 6 4 2.
