Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Sir Arnold Burgen was formerly Professor of Pharmacology at the University of Cambridge and Director of the National Institute for Medical Research. He was also the President of Academia Europaea from its founding in 1988 until 1994. He is currently editor of the European Review. Kjell Harnqvist is Professor Emeritus of Education and Educational Psychology at Gothenberg University. He is also the former Dean of Social Sciences and Rector of the University of Gothenberg. He is a member of Academia Europaea and a researcher in differential psychology and longitudinal studies of educational career development.The Academia Europaea, founded in 1988, is an international, non-governmental association of individual scholars and scientists aiming to promote learning, education and research. It currently has over 1650 members from thirty-four countries. It covers a wide range of disciplines including the physical sciences and technology, the biological sciences and medicine, the humanities, the social and cognitive sciences, economics and law.
