Reports on a massive survey of over 20,000 French adults requested by the Ministries of Research and Health, partly to compare to the previous survey on sexual activity, carried out in 1970 just before the AIDS epidemic began. Compiles and analyzes data on sexual behavior, communication, psychological predispositions, social environment, risk and methods of protection, perceptions of AIDS and the screening test, prediction, and the further spread of AIDS.
