Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Alec Kruger was taken away as a small child to institutions under the former Australian government policy of removing "half-caste children." He has since battled for identity and the recognition of the plight he shared with tens of thousands of children who are now referred to as the "Stolen Generations." Gerard Waterford is a social worker with the social and emotional wellbeing program of Central Australian Aboriginal Congress.
