Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Peter Sis is the author of Starry Messenger: Galileo Galilei, a 1997 Caldecott Honour Book. He was born and raised in Czechoslovakia, where his mother was an artist and his father a filmmaker. He studied painting and filmmaking at the Academy of Applied Arts in Prague and at the Royal College of Art in London and is known internationally for his award- winning books and films. Tibet: Through the Red Box was recently chosen as a 1998 Caldecott Honour Book.
