Bob Dunn is a thirty-five-year member of the NHPA and has served as the organization's historian since 2008. The sport's history has always been of interest to Bob, and he has written an article series since 2004 for the NHPA's Newsline called "Horseshoe Pitching Facts & Folklore." He has also authored World Champions of Horseshoe Pitching, 1920-2010, a book covering the women's, junior, and senior divisions in World Tournament competition. More recently, he researched and wrote AAU National Amateur Horseshoe-Pitching Championships, 1937-1977.
