Book two of Trouble in the Triangle (volume three) opens with a panorama of Europe between Munich and the outbreak of the Second World War as the backdrop for discussion of the relationship between the Qur'anic prophesy of the Night Journey and Hitler's blueprint for a new society, Mein Kampf. The author relates Hitler and the Holocaust to the Scourge of the Night Journey, and characterizes the Axis and Allied powers of the Second World War - powers of evil - as Gog and Magog of Maimonides' expectation of the return of the Jewish people to Israel. The way in which both Japan and the United States were maneuvered into the Second World War, and the motivation behind subsequent United States policies and actions, and its role in the establishment of the State of Israel are discussed at length. The events of fifty wasted years since the establishment of the State of Israel, including the Allied occupation of Japan, the collapse of the European Colonial system, the Yom Kippur War, and the partial oil embargo of 1973 are interwoven with discussion of the establishment of the World Council of Churches, the suppressed moves towards a New International Economic Order, the manipulation of the Cold War, and the progressively changing relationships between the powers linked to each of the Abrahamic faiths. The way in which the policies of the United States have converged to place it in a situation so that it is dependent for its political and economic stability on maintaining stable relationships with each of Israel and its friends, the Palestinians and their friends, and its own petroleum industry are discussed at length. The closing pages focus on the Second Intifada and the measures which now appear essential to unravel the crisis in the Middle East and the trouble in the triangle of Abrahamic faiths, especially in the light of the cur rent US-led 'war against terrorism.' The author insists that the most essential practical measure is a comprehensive review of current international trading arrangements, concurrent with the reassessment of Messianic theology with Jews, Christians and Muslims working in collaboration.
