Scott Shaw is a prolific author and filmmaker. During his youth he became deeply involved with Eastern Meditative Thought. This guided him to Asia where he has was initiated into Buddhist, Hindu, and Sufi sects; eventually being ordained into the holy order of Sannyasa. Today, Shaw frequently returns to Asia, documenting obscure aspects of Asian culture in words and on film. He is a frequently featured contributor to Martial and Meditative Art Journals and is the author of numerous books on Zen Buddhism, the Martial Arts, Ki Science, Yoga, and Meditation.
