He was also a programmer analyst for Merrill Lynch. Pavel is the coauthor of JFC: Java Foundation Classes, Migrating from Java 1.0 to 1.1, The Java 1.1 Programmer's Reference, and The Official Netscape Java 1.1 Programming Book. He lives in San Leandro, California.
