David A. Wallace of the American Institute of Certified Planners was a founding partner of the groundbreaking urban design firm Wallace McHarg Roberts & Todd and professor in the Department of City and Regional Planning at the University of Pennsylvania for eighteen years. He received a Distinguished Service Award from the Philadelphia chapter of the American Institute of Architects in 2002 and the American Planning Association's Distinguished Leadership Award in 2003.
