This is Norman Rudi’s fourth biography about those who served in World War II. The native of Glidden, IA, served in WWII after the shooting stopped, as a paratrooper in the Army of Occupation in Japan. A graduate of the University of Oklahoma in Architecture in 1953, Rudi started his own firm and retired in 1994.

Rudi observes, "There are so many exciting and unique stories of persons who risked their lives to protect our freedoms during World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, Gulf Storm and Freedom for Iraq. These very personal stories should be preserved, so future generations will understand the true cost of freedom."
