Reseña del editor:
Monsters... they are seen all around us, and yet no real proof has ever been discovered. Fact, or Fiction? Every culture describes them, and countless documentation and ancient texts mention their presence. The tales are passed down from one generation to another, whispered around campfires, and told to trembling children. Modern day adventures seek them out in hopes to discover evidence of their existence, and signs of the mythical truth. Are they real? Regardless of the truth, pray that you never encounter one... Paul Melniczek takes us on a monster quest across the continents you will soon not forget. Stories which compel and frighten us as if we ourselves are hunted through dark and primeval forests, and confronted with the terrible and ultimate truth: Monsters do exist!

"Time after time in these tales, Paul Melniczek builds vivid settings that throb with a sense of lurking menace. These are stories that conjure up the atmosphere of dark Halloween nights...even in the bright light of day." - Stephen Mark Rainey

"There's only a handful of young writers I will drop whatever I am doing to read...Paul Melniczek is one of them. Atmospheric, lyrical storytelling at its best. He always delivers." - Richard Chizmar
Biografía del autor:
Paul Melniczek is a small business owner and a college graduate with a degree in business management. He also teaches a part-time class at a local college, and is married with two children. In 2000 he began writing and has had over seventy stories published or accepted for publication in a wide variety of markets, including print anthologies, print magazines, e-zines, and e-anthologies. Some of these include sales to Fangoria, Black Rose, Cold Storage, and many others.

He is also a musician, playing classical piano and electric guitar. In his free time he enjoys the outdoors, weightlifting, golf, and tennis. Living in the country lends much inspiration to his writing, and he is currently working on another short story collection, a fantasy novel, and a children's book.
