Inhaltsangabe

In addition to covering such basic workplace performance improvement issues as job aids and on-the-job training, this volume devotes several chapters to presenting a broader picture of Human Performance Technology (HPT). Preparation of HPT practitioners, the competencies required, the changing roles and professional challenges, and performance support engineering are all addressed here. As Performance Technologists sit on the precipice of an Electronic Performance Support Systems era, several chapters emphasize how much information exists in this burgeoning technology and the interplay between the user and the computer.
