Reseña del editor:
In this heart-warming book, cruise director Gary Glading recalls some of the most memorable and hilarious incidents from his career on luxury cruise ships, a career that has lasted 24 years and taken him from the Arctic to the Antarctic and seen him circumnavigate the globe several times. Over the years, he has entertained passengers, interviewed celebrities and tended stray and sick animals at ports around the world. His extraordinary adventures have included surviving a hurricane in the Atlantic, caring for stowaway animals, quelling a passenger mutiny and being marooned on a tropical island. Stars, Staterooms & Stowaways offers a fascinating insight into the world of cruising from an `insider's' point of view - the ships, crew, passengers, entertainers, celebrities and destinations - before and after 9/11, when cruising changed forever.
