Ewa Mazierska is Senior Lecturer in Film and Media Studies in the Department of Historical and Critical Studies at the University of Central Lancashire. She has published and edited several books about cinema in Polish and English, including Man and Culture: The Cinema of James Ivory and Trapped in the Present and Other Postmodern States: The Cinema of Wong Kar-Wai. Laura Rascaroli is Toyota Lecturer in Film and Media Studies in the School of Languages and Literature at the National University of Ireland, Cork. She is the co-author, with Ewa Mazierska, of From Moscow to Madrid: European Cities, Postmodern Cinema.
