'I most identify with art that is visually beautiful. It doesn't have to have a meaning behind it, but something that captures colour and movement especially. I enjoy working with intricate patterns. I can just put on some music and sit there for hours drawing tiny patterns with my favourite black fine liner. Most of the time I don't realise how much time has gone by!' Georgie is a 27-year-old artist based in Cheltenham UK. She has always had a love for colour and pattern and creates her pieces in fine black ink, using a mix of ProMarker pens, and watercolour. Her interest in the natural world radiates through her unique style, and each artwork is testament to her painstaking attention to detail, intricate patterning and use of colour. Through her work Georgie strives to capture and recreate the beauty of nature.Much of her inspiration stems from India, where she worked and studied in 2011. These Indian influences in the form of vibrant colours and intricate patterns heavily inform the style in which she works today. Georgie regularly exhibits her work throughout the UK and it is available to buy from the Paragon Gallery and folksy.com. Her designs have even been converted into tattoos. Although only beginning her career Georgie has a growing number of fans who have commented: 'I am over the moon with my original from you... You are wonderful at what you do' and 'Your work astounds me every time, such small and such intricate detail is beyond me'.
