Inhaltsangabe

. The content of this book has no theme other than the experiences of life in many and various stages. The journeys are many and varied with so many challenges and obstacles as a Sylheti, Bangladeshi; but the vast array of experiences are not unique to me and are universal. The experiences that I've captured are colourful and the times that they've happened give it the flavour. I want to bring to the world, my world and show that there is dissimilarity to our lives. We all ride "the ride of life" from different points but all travel to the heart/centre of what life is. In this book you will feel and experience a journey that will take you in and out, emotional, mentally and spiritually. The writing will challenge you as you read the authors snapshots of life, the randomness of the content to illustrate the randomness of life and what it throws at you or rather what you wasn't prepared for. I now that you will go on a roller coaster ride of life, don't get disheartened.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Semitic Paradox: Palestine, Erasure, and Resistance In a world where myth has replaced memory and silence is sold as diplomacy, Semitic Paradox rips the veil off history. From ancient Canaan to Gaza's modern siege, this book traces the long arc of Palestine's existence - not as a footnote, but as a birthplace of civilizations, faiths, and resistance. With unflinching clarity, Mayar dismantles the distortion that Palestinians are outsiders in their own land. The book journeys through Roman conquest, Herodian betrayal, Byzantine dominion, Islamic transitions, and colonial rupture - culminating in the ongoing erasure by a state built upon displacement. At its heart lies a devastating irony: Semitic peoples killing Semitic kin, all while the world stands paralysed. This is not a neutral history. It is a weapon of truth. A mirror held up to empire. A requiem for the erased and a rallying cry for the awake. Blending rigorous scholarship with poetic defiance, Semitic Paradox is an urgent intervention - for classrooms, encampments, and every place where history dares to rise.
