Following the 1st Edition's publication and success, this 2nd Edition of the Essential Revision Notes for the FRCS (Urol) is a further improved and carefully updated, easy-to-read and comprehensive two-volume textbook covering the entire curriculum for both Sections of the exam. Written by an NHS Consultant Urological Surgeon with extensive experience as faculty in FRCS (Urol) revision courses as well as individually preparing candidates, the textbook is designed to accompany examinees throughout their study journey and act as a revision roadmap for them. To aid memorisation and information recall for the busy trainee, it is written in a logical and consistent manner, highlighting essential facts in bite-sized paragraphs, with regular reference to relevant NICE and EAU Guidelines. The 2nd Edition has many new features, including a brand-new set of sample MCQs, many helpful practical viva tips added across the books, key scientific papers are now highlighted and summarised, and two new bonus chapters on Renal Transplantation and Viva Tips and Tricks are included. Volume 1 covers: Station 1 - Urological Oncology 1 (bladder, renal and upper tract urothelial cancers) Station 2 - Urological Oncology 2 (prostate, testicular, penile and urethral cancers) Station 3 - Paediatric Urology Station 4 - Emergency Urology Bonus Chapter - Renal Transplantation
