From joining the Junior Civil Defence in 1956 to serving onboard HMS Albion during the Borneo War, from living in Singapore, Scotland, Houston and Rio de Janeiro, and from working for hundreds of offshore and oil industry clients around the world, Reed brings his own introspective sense of humour to numerous incidents and experiences. All of this is coloured by his own family experiences, a mixture and tragedy and joy.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

From Blackpool Uk. Am beyond 65yrs old now. Not had a career, but have had plenty of different jobs at different social levels. I enjoyed being an archaeologist and my self-employment in building work, as well as a short spell as a toymaker. Educated at state school, private religious boarding school and also on the streets of Europe. Married to Barbara, we have two sons, and three grandchildren.
