These systems frequently focus on inner alchemy, personal enlightenment, understanding hidden universal powers and utilizing specific spiritual disciplines or ritual, for self-transformation or influence over the world. With over 200 illustrations, this introduction to the mystical symbols and scripts of Indian and Chinese cosmic philosophy is a western overview of far-eastern magic for artists and students of mystical and religious belief systems.
