Olivia Stefanino has been on the fringes of the world of business and finance for more than two decades - initially as a journalist and subsequently as a speaker, executive coach and leadership specialist. Working with some of the finance profession's biggest institutions - from a couple of high street banks through to MBNA and what were then Skandia and Norwich Union - she's come to see why some people succeed, while others fall by the wayside. Her credo is that 'successful companies employ successful individuals' - and her transformational work with both large organisations and smaller companies results in increased profits and improved employee engagement and wellbeing. In her first book, "Be Your Own Guru - personal and business enlightenment in just 3 days!", Olivia shares the story of a pilot project with a high street bank in which her innovative approach helped the organisation's sales team to improve their profits by a massive 330% (and absenteeism went down). Smaller companies working with Olivia also see dramatic results too - in just one example, a restaurant owner was amazed to find profits had quadrupled in less than six months.
