'For Use As Directed' is the story of an ordinary man who, after dedicating his life to Jesus Christ at an early age, had some far from ordinary experiences. David, a pharmacist, and his wife, Sim, migrated from England to Australia in May 1964. The book tells of the highs and lows of preparation for service and missionary work in Ethiopia and Liberia as a pharmacist, church-planter, and administrator and, of course, as a parent. The book is designed to honour God to give insights into pharmacy and missionary medicine in a tropical context, and to show what God is able to do with anyone who trusts in God.
